Microsoft's Industry Solution Awards are designed to award any accounting solution developer who best utilizes Microsoft technology, specifically Windows NT and SQL Server, to provide tangible business benefits to accounting organisations.

The top six scoring entries were selected and announced as finalists at SoftEx in Accounting & Finance, Atlanta, Georgia, September 9-10, 1997.
