Overview of Channel Partner Program

Introduction

The ST Synergy Ltd Channel Partner Program defines three different categories of Channel Partners – Solution Provider, Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Consultant/Adviser. Channel Partners who become part of our Channel Partner Program receive a discount off both:

  • the list price on all sales, and
  • the annual code maintenance fee

Depending upon the level of commitment and skills of the channel partner, the level of discount for ST Synergy software and code maintenance fees will vary. All channel partners are expected to purchase and use ST Synergy in house, however their is no cost in becoming a channel partner.

 

SOLUTION PROVIDER/DISTRIBUTOR

The Solution Providers are the first line organisation in the Channel Partner Program and as such are entitled to sell, install and support all products of ST Synergy Ltd. Solution Providers can build their own direct efforts or by building a reseller and consultant/advisor base which will provide full service, designated support people and sales people for each user. Knowledge of management as well as a technical base is essential.

 

VALUE ADDED RESELLER (VAR)

A reseller is appointed by ST Synergy Ltd and may sell to end users. A reseller may not appoint it’s own resellers. The ST Synergy Value Added Reseller is able to manage leads, and provide casual assistance for the site, however may not have the resources to follow through the installation and support processes. All Value Added Resellers must belong to a Solution Provider, or will be allocated a Solution Provider, as it’s first level of support by ST Synergy Ltd.

 

CONSULTANT/ADVISER

The Consultant/Adviser program is managed by ST Synergy Ltd and involves organisations such as accounting firms, business consultants, PR companies and others. Consultants can interact with clients and produce leads. At this point they engage a solution provider to continue the analysis, consultation and installation. This best suits a small organisation or business, which can find a sale, to the administration and talk to the client.
